Course MS-4022: Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot in Copilot Studio is a practically oriented training focused on building agents that extend the capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot with additional knowledge and specific functionalities. To successfully follow the MS-4022 course, the following prior knowledge is recommended:

Basic (required) knowledge:

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot: Basic knowledge and understanding of the features and intended use of Copilot in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
• Familiarity with options for extending Microsoft 365 Copilot: A basic understanding of the concepts of how and why Microsoft 365 Copilot can be extended (extensibility) for specific organizational business needs.

Recommended prior courses:

To ensure you have the foundational skills needed for this training, we highly recommend attending the following courses prior to enrollment:

• PL-7008: Create agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio: This course provides the essential hands-on experience with the Copilot Studio platform, managing topics, entities, and general conversational AI concepts.
• MS-4004: Empower your workforce with Copilot for Microsoft 365 Use Cases: This course builds the necessary familiarity with how Copilot operates directly within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (Optional but helpful): This foundational course is recommended if you need to build a general understanding of the Power Platform environment, logical flows, and data connections.

Recommended (additional) knowledge that facilitates work in hands-on labs:

• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Copilot Studio platform (managing topics and entities) and concepts of Conversational AI.
• Logical thinking and experience with creating simple flows or connecting data within the Microsoft Power Platform.

The knowledge he gained in practice was passed on in an educational center, initially in the field of Windows Server Technology, and later he focused on the Microsoft CRM platform.

For the last 17 years, he has been working with the Microsoft CRM business platform, and since 2018, he has been involved with the Power Platform, participating in many projects in Slovenia and the United Kingdom.
