Primary Audience

This course is intended for IT professional technical specialists responsible for implementing and maintaining virtualization technologies.

Prerequisites for the Course

Experience with network load balancing
Basic knowledge of operating systems
Experience in an enterprise environment managing applications and network topologie
Experience in deployment and managing VMware VI3 or vSphere
Basic troubleshooting skills

After completing

This course, students will have basic knowledge necessary to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Hyper-V R2 and VMM 2008 R2 in their enterprise environment.

R2 version of Windows server 2008 brings us new Hyper-V virtualization with new powerful features for better performance, availability and management. SP1 will provide enhancements of these features.

Education will provide overview of virtualization technologies built in windows Server 2008 R2 and System Center Virtual Machine Manager R2 (SC VMM). Education will provide basics for planning, licensing, implementation and management of virtual and physical environment in mixed IT systems consisted of Hyper-V and VMware vSphere.
