The Professional Scrum Product Owner™ - Advanced (PSPO-A) course is a hands-on, activity-based program tailored for experienced Product Owners and Product Managers aiming to enhance their capability to establish a vision, validate hypotheses, and deliver increased value to stakeholders. This course expands upon the foundational concepts explored in the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) class by delving deeper into the multifaceted role of a professional Product Owner. Participants are expected to have at least one year of Product Owner experience and a practical understanding of Scrum to fully engage in and benefit from the course activities. While prior attendance of the PSPO class is recommended, it is not mandatory.

This course is designed for Product Owners, Product Managers, and Business Analysts heavily focused on honing their Product Management skills, tools, techniques, and knowledge within the Scrum Team context. While the course does not extensively cover the Scrum framework, it assumes participants possess a solid understanding of it. Attendees should ideally have at least one year of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, although multiple years of experience and prior attendance of the Professional Scrum Product Owner course, along with passing the PSPO exam, are preferred but not obligatory.

Additionally, individuals in roles such as Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and company leaders may also find value in the PSPO-A course.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students must understand basics of Professional Scrum Product Owner or attend course Professional Scrum Product Owner.

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Product Owner II (PSPO II) assessment. The industry-recognized PSPO II certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. PSPO-A class participants who attempt the PSPO II assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost.
